Frequently Asked Questions about the website.

How do I renew my books ?

To do this, you need to login to the online catalogue with your library card number and PIN. Enter you card number with a capital letter at the beginning followed by 13 numbers, with no spaces.    Click on Current Loans, mark the items you want to renew and click Renew Selections at the bottom of the list. Or just choose Renew All.   You can renew items up to three times, but you will be charged again for music CDs, DVDs and talking books.

How do I find out when my local library is open ?

Follow the link from the Homepage. It's near the top and is called Community Libraries.

How do I join the library ?

At the very top of every page of the website is a link called Joining the Library. This will take you to our online joining form.  You will be given a temporary membership number.   In order to obtain full membership you will need to visit your chosen library to collect a permanent ticket.

How do I contact you ?

You will find a link to our contact details at the top and bottom of every webpage.

Can I print from the website ?

All our pages are printer-friendly.   You can print out all the information from the galleries, with thumbnail images, if you click on Switch to basic view. This may be several pages, so please check first that you want to print it all.
