The stunning Library of Birmingham is open seven days a week in Centenary Square.
Monday to Friday 8am-8pm
If you are intending to visit the Library of Birmingham, please check the opening hours for that day before you travel.
From 1 April 2015, our opening hours will change. This is because the City Council must make significant budget savings. It is anticipated that the Library will be open 40 hours a week. We aim to publish the new opening times/ days as soon as the Library’s budget for 2015/16 is confirmed by the Council in early March. Please look out on this website for further information.
We're bringing you access to treasures from our world-class collections - including Shakespeare, Early and Fine Printing, the Parker Collection of Children's Books and Games and the Railway Collection.
