Last year, film maker Didier Soulier approached Francine Houben, the architect of the Library of Birmingham with the offer of creating a fly through of the library prior to its opening. However due to technical glitches the film was not used.
On Good Friday, Didier came back into the library and filmed again. The editing took four days in which Didier utilised 'tilt shift' to simulate the miniaturize effect. Didier is very pleased with the final result and hopes the people of Birmingham enjoy the video too!
His next big project is the Cube at the Mailbox, so keep an eye out for something small flying above!
