Young Poet Laureate Birmingham

Each year young people aged 11-17 are invited to apply to be our next Young Poet Laureate for the city.
Our Young Poet Laureates play a fantastic role in promoting poetry to other young people. In past years, they have met the Lord Mayor, performed on stage at the Frankfurt Christmas Market, worked with schools and youth groups, appeared on radio and television, visited a top football team and taken the stage at Gigglefest.
